It is in flower from June to October, and the seeds ripen from August to October and are pollinated by Flies, Moths, and Butterflies. The plant is self-fertile, cannot grow in the shade, and prefers dry or moist soil. Zones 3-8 Germination Seeds are tiny. Sow seeds the thickness of the seeds on top of the medium and lightly cover.
