Dudleya lanceolata is a cactus or succulent in the Crassulaceae family. Some familiar names are Lanceleaf Liveforever, Southern California Dudleya. A native to the southern mountains of California and Baja. It grows 12" tall and wide in full sun to part shade. The bloom colors can range from orange to yellow and also green. They bloom from late spring to mid-summer. The stems are a foot tall with an inflorescence on top with 20 flowers displayed. This is a good plant for rock gardens or as a potted plant. Zones 9-11 Germination Sow seeds on top of the medium, lightly tamp then cover. Keep moist in a bright spot. Do not cover and keep temperatures around 65-75F. Germination is in 7-30 days.
