Rarely available species with swollen trunk and puzzle-patterned flaky bark from Mexico (see photos of mature trees). This seedling is not the more-common ellipticum species. Grows outdoors in full sun in coastal Southern California. Two-year-old seedlings in 4" pot. The plant you receive will resemble the seedling in the photos. Shipped bare root to US locations.
