Description Our wire core solid braid polyester rope is constructed using a galvanized aircraft cable with a tightly braided 100% polyester jacket. This very durable rope design is intended mostly for flagpole halyards. You can fly your flag with confidence for years using this tamper proof premium rope. Our commercial grade wire center polyester has excellent resistance to abrasion, UV degradation, rot, mildew and most chemicals. Our wire core halyard ropes have almost no stretch, or creep, due to the steel center. This is the best rope for flagpole halyards and it will work reliably in any weather. Our wire center cord is available in ¼”, 5/16”, and ⅜” diameter, which are the three standard diameters for flag ropes.
