Guatemala Cubulco Coffee Freshly Roasted to Order (SMALL BATCH) Small farm grown in the Cubulco region of Guatemala, this coffee stands out with its splendid balance and sweetness. Not only is this single origin coffee delightfully tasty with crisp acidity and a creamy body, it is grown with a global approach to sustainably producing high-quality coffees. Cocoa chocolate, citrus and roasted almond notes, with a crisp smooth body. Guatemala Cubulco is a Medium Roast, Single-Origin coffee from Cubulco, Baja Verapaz in Guatemala. Small batch, artisan roast. Smooth & balanced in the cup. Roasted and packed fresh to guarantee optimum taste allowing for complete flavor development. Located in central Guatemala, Cubulco is situated near the Sierra de las Minas and Sierra de Chuacus mountain ranges. Moist clay soil and a rainy and temperate-to-cold climate help the cherries mature slowly and develop the coffee’s signature notes of milk chocolate, citrus and hazelnut. Cubulco is part of the department of Baja Verapaz, a region with improving living conditions and a high percentage of indigenous peoples, who are descendants of the Achi ethnic group. The area’s coffee producers are smallholders who use traditional agricultural practices and operate their own wet mills.
