Tiger 90 prill is designed in size and shape to blend with other fertilizer without separating in the blend. Tiger 90 is a degradable sulphur and is the best economical source of sulphur. The relative consistent size of prill makes it ideal for broadcasting and banding. Tiger 90 should be used depending on the status of your soil tests. For sulphur to become available to the plant it must first be oxidized to sulphate. The rate of oxidization is strongly dependent on the particle size of the sulphur after its incorporation into the soil. Soil moisture causes the swelling clay to disintegrate the sulphur prill into sufficiently fine particles and surface area to speed up the conversion to sulphate for plant uptake
