Because it is difficult to cut or the blade will be damaged quickly A high concentration diamonds are crimped into the blade rim More diamonds in the notched rim and a stiffer core make this blade cut faster and provide a long use-life. These blades work well with most lapidary materials and are a very affordable alternative to name brand blades. Diamonds Series blades are a great low cost choice for your lapidary saw.
