Cool magic pillow works by pressure. Place on lower back and it will start vibrating. You have to have pressure squeezing the pillow for affect. It measures 12" x 12" and comes in original packaging. I added new batteries. There is no battery cover and Im not even sure there is supposed to be one. Also has a port for USB to travel with. Works great but has to have pressure on it so perfect for neck, back or areas where weight can be put upon it or against it. Relaxing beach shore image.
