The middle length (where the 2 panels meet) is 12 inches long. The lining is of an off-white color. UNLINED and LINED are both LIGHT FILTERING options. We do not offer black out or room darkening.To determine how many panels are needed, start by measuring the width of the window (or the curtain rod itself when installed). Then multiply that number by 1.5 to 3 times, depending on the desired fullness and pleating style desired.We can custom make to different lengths if needed.
