9 pound lb 40" x 63" Flannel Alpacas Weighted Blanket
9 lb 40"x 63" Weighted Sensory blanket. Flannel alpacas. Photos show both sides of the blanket, so you can see both cotton flannel fabrics used. One fabric per side..I use cotton fabrics a lot, so that the blanket can be used year round. They are filed with poly plastic pellets & are machine washable (gentle) & machine dryable. They are NOT steam dryable. Steam dryers have a higher temperature that can reach the temperature to soften the pellets. The blanket can also be hung to dry. I made my first weighted blanket for my own autistic granddaughter. She loves it & still uses it every night, 3 years later. Weighted blankets help with a variety of sensory issues. Autism, adhd, anxiety, restless leg & others. It seems to work the same way swaddling a crying baby works. The weighted blankets calm & relax. I'm hearing from my customers, that their children are falling asleep faster, & sleeping through the night. I even have some mothers taking their children's blankets & using them, when they themselves are feeling stressed & they are telling me even their children's weighted blanket is helping them. I make these all at home. I am not a professional. So far, all have been one of a kind. If you see one you like, don't wait. Chances are, I do not have more of the same fabric & cannot duplicate it. Each blanket takes me 4-6 hours to make. Blanket will arrive in a flat rate box & will be at the post office within 24 hrs of payment, provided they are open.
