To ensure compatibility of this cutterhead to planers, the list also includes an oil seal that fits the planer's gearbox. Each head features 4 rows of cutters for a total of ~65.Each cutter, or carbide insert in size of 15mmX15mmX2.5mm, is solid carbide and will outlast your steel knives by a good margin. Each insert also has four cutting sides so just rotate the one side that gets dull and your are ready to plane again.
