Battery packs connected in series will eventually have difference in voltage level. This is because of different factors such as, difference in chemical composition, grade of the material used, rate of charge/discharge and environmental factors. As the process of charging and discharging continues, the difference in voltage level of each battery packs will gradually increase and eventually leads to premature battery failure if not kept in check. ZZP Solar Battery Balancer will prevent this from happening by actively monitoring and automatically balancing your battery packs thus prolonging their life. ZZP Solar Battery balancer does not need an additional power source to balance your battery pack. It balances or equalizes the battery packs by transferring the energy from the higher voltage/capacity battery to lower voltage/capacity battery. This is a very inexpensive item that goes a long way to evenly distribute and extend the life of your battery packs.
