It will have splinters, knots, various colors (including graying), grains, dirt, cracks, scratches, holes, twists, turns, bows, etc. etc. It’s wood! When it’s outside it can get wet or dry, which can cause it to have the chance to split, warp, crack, blow away, etc. Nothing leaves my shop that I didn’t craft myself with the best quality cedar I can supply to you, so please rest assure!I dry and store my cedar outside, sometimes there can be graying on the boards... Anything that is grayor has a gray tint to it will be placed towards the back, bottom or inside of the bluebird house. Ive also had requests for all gray (aged look birdhouses)..
