It grows to 7 feet tall and can spread out to 20 feet, I have seen. The flowers are close to an inch long and almost blood-red in color. It blooms from August to March when the berries ripen even darker red. This one grows best in part shade with fertile, well-drained soil. The Hummingbirds pollinate the Cestrum elegans.
