Heirloom Red Robin Tomato Seeds Micro-Dwarf Container, Hydroponic, 25 seeds
This amazing micro dwarf bush tomato only grows 8 to 12 inches tall but is packed with small round fruits about an inch in diameter. The taste is sweet to mildly acidic. This is a determinate plant, meaning that the fruits are set together, and then the tomato stops flowering. If you live in a location with a longer season, consider starting new plants 2 to 3 weeks apart to extend the harvest. Harvest begins about 60 days from setting out plants. Suitable for containers, hydroponics, and direct planting in your garden. They are compact bushy plants that can be set close together, so you don't need much space to get lots of these delicious tomatoes. I am always amazed at how many tomatoes are on each compact plant. Plus, they are beautiful plants to look at, I have planted them mixed in with my flower garden as they add an ornamental and edible touch! I included a few photos of these plants growing in my Aerogarden. The last photo is for comparison, as you are purchasing only tomato seeds, but notice the size of the kale and Swiss chard next to the tomato plants which are so small but already loaded with fruit. I can't call these "certified organic" because I am not certified, however, the plants were grown without pesticide use and with only compost as fertilizer. The germination rate was 95% on my recent test. 25 seeds per packet. Your entire purchase price is donated to charity:water, to help others get access to clean water.
