Pool Shock 68% Calcium Hypochlorite - is similar to Sock-It, but can be broadcast evenly over the pool's surface without bleaching vinyl liners. Apply at night at the rate of 1 bag per 10,000 gallons. For green water add 3 bags per 10,000 gallons. 68% Calcium Hypochlorite Directions for Use: Prior to adding to your pool, adjust the pH of the pool water using pH minus or plus as necessary (ph balance 7.2 - 7.6) Add 1 to 2 oz. of this product per 1,000 of pool water to yield available chlorine residual of 5 to 10 ppm You can either sprinkle extensive area of the pool surface, or pre-dissolved in a large bucket and walk around the perimeter of the pool If algae growth is present brush affected area with a stiff bristle brush Features: POOL SHOCK TREATMENT - Our super shock contains 68% calcium hypochlorite, yielding 65% available chlorine making this similar to Mega Shock, but slightly less concentrated.
