Flocking tape can be used for several non-entertainment related applications such as an abrasion-resistant substrate and sliding surface for noise reduction (anti-squeak) and dampening, basic surface separation (padding furniture feet), scratch prevention, and rattle noise reduction. It is often used in automobile dash interiors to keep parts from rubbing together and making noise.For the entertainment industry FLOCK-1 flocking tape can be easily applied around the edges of a wall screen to provide a definitive non-reflective border frame, which gives a more finished and professional appearance.
