Vintage Otagiri Roadrunner Set - Soup Bowl/Cup & Matching Salad Plate Stoneware
This auction is for a single set of a soup bowl and salad plate (two pieces per set) featuring a roadrunner and cactus. There are multiple sets available. These are consistent with Otagiri products but there are no markings. The plates measure approximately 7.5 inches across and the mugs/bowls measure approximately 4.4 inches across (without the handle). There are some minor variations in the glaze colors (mostly on the edges of the mugs), but no chips or cracks were found. I've had these since the late 1980s (my mother found them at an estate sale) and I did use them when I was younger (my college mascot was the Roadrunner). They've been in a cupboard for years, so time for them to go to someone who will enjoy them. Free shipping (seller's choice) to domestic US locations.
