Premium Material: Membrane Solutions Reverse Osmosis (RO) membranes are made from 100% food-grade Thin Film Composite (TFC) material for ultimate purification performance with high permeate flow, tested by an independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI 58 standards, providing safe-clean drinking water. Depth Filtration: 500 GPD RO membrane with a high 97% stabilized salt rejection rate. Hundreds of impurities are reduced by over 99% through the 0.0001-micron TFC membrane layer, including heavy metals (fluoride, calcium, magnesium, lead, colloids, chromium, and nitrates), organic materials, and harmful minerals, including other soluble salts found in water resources. Wide Compatibility: Membrane Solutions ROULP-3012-500 reverse osmosis membrane for home drinking water treatment or maple syrup filter systems are among the most reliable and consistent elements in the industry. With the industry-standard 12" x 3" size, this high capacity RO element fits most standard 2812/3012 RO housing for the light commercial reverse osmosis water systems. Long Life Span: Our membrane elements are shipped dry in an original sealed package for convenient handling and long shelf-life. The membrane normally lasts about 2-3 years depending on your source water quality. Package Includes: 1 Pack: 1 x 500 GPD RO Membrane, 1 x Housing, 1 x Wrench, 3 x Fitting 2 Pack: 2 x 500 GPD RO Membrane, 2 x Housing, 2 x Wrench, 6 x Fitting 4 Pack: 4 x 500 GPD RO Membrane, 4 x Housing, 4 x Wrench, 12 x Fitting 6 Pack: 6 x 500 GPD RO Membrane, 6 x Housing, 6 x Wrench, 18 x Fitting 8 Pack: 8 x 500 GPD RO Membrane, 8 x Housing, 8 x Wrench, 24 x Fitting 10 Pack: 10 x 500 GPD RO Membrane, 10 x Housing, 10 x Wrench, 30 x Fitting Tips: Recommend work pressure is 100 psi when using this product in a Maple Syrup reverse osmosis system. And we suggest heating and maintaining the raw sap at 104°F(40°C) to prevent clog on the membrane while keeping it under 113°F(45°C) to avoid damage to the membrane due to over-high temperature. Important Information: It is recommended that systems using these elements rinse the elements for 24 hours, prior to first use, to meet NSF/ANSI 58 Standard. The first full tank of permeate must be discarded. Do not use this initial permeate for drinking water or food preparation. Keep elements moist at all times after initial wetting. To prevent biological growth during prolonged system shutdowns, it is recommended that membrane elements be immersed in a preservative solution. Rinse out the preservative before use. The membrane shows some resistance to short-term attack by chlorine (hypochlorite). Continuous exposure, however, may damage the membrane and should be avoided. On Sep 10, 2023 at 18:48:47 PDT, seller added the following information:
