This beautiful Oriental rug is a 2’8” x 10’5” Turkish vegetable dye floor runner, circa 2000s. This hand made Turkish rug has a light green background and has an antique look to it. This rug is in good condition. Tabriz, located to the north-west, is Persia's second oldest city and has been at the centre of the rug-making world for hundreds, perhaps thousands of years. Most Tabriz rugs have a powerful red or blue with contrasting ivory background. Softer greens, blues and browns can be found in newer carpets to meet modern tastes and interiors.
