This all natural fertilizer is 100% pure alpaca manure compost. There are zero chemicals, hormones, or antibiotics because we don’t use any of it in our feed. We feed our alpacas orchard grass and timothy hay with some occasional alfalfa. This alpaca manure compost is already composted and ready to use immediately. Just mix into your soil! You can use it with indoor plants and outdoor plants, including gardening, trees, bushes, mushrooms and weed. No rehydrating, messy processes, making tea, burlap bags or whatever - just scoop right out of the bag and into your soil! It is amazing how plant growth is accelerated with this compost. If you live in a city and don't want the hassles of buying and storing large bags of manure, this is the perfect solution for you. The compost is moist and there is nothing else composted with it, but you may get a little bit of hay, small amount of gravel, or an earthworm! We do our best to pull any other material out. Once we receive your order, we will actually harvest it from the compost pile “fresh”, and pack and ship within a day or two. Benefits of Using Alpaca Manure: -The NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) levels in alpaca manure are reported to be 1.7%(N), .69%(P), 1.2%(K). This is one of the highest NPK compositions available in manure, if not the highest. (Please note that we've never done a chemical analysis on our composted manure. I've scoured the Internet looking for lab results showing the chemical analysis of alpaca manure and all I can find are NPK numbers that online retailers simply repeat without citing their source. I'll have to do the same until I can find a legitimate source to cite.)- Does not run "hot". It will not burn your plants (you can even use it uncomposted the day it was "made")- No undigested seeds. Alpacas have three compartments in their stomachs to thoroughly digest their food- It's virtually odorless- Our composted alpaca manure is very dense, and in my opinion, you can use less per cubic foot.
