The Awntech New Yorker is a rigid valance fixed fabric awning applicable for doors, windows, and entryways. This awning adds a modern aesthetic to any residential home or commercial building. The awning is patented, individually hand-crafted, and durable. The framework is constructed out of a durable mill finish aluminum and assembled with stainless steel hardware. The awning is closed on both sides and replaces the traditional free flowing scalloped valance with a frame supported valance. The canopy is a Beauty-Mark branded 100% solution-dyed acrylic fabric with anti-microbial yarns. Each fabric is treated with resistant coatings that make the fabric water resistant, block harsh UV rays from causing quick fading, and prevent mildew and soil build up. The awning fabric canopy includes a wavy scallop (known as Awntech’s standard Sahara valance) with a braided trim to enhance the front end of the awning. The awnings material and structure can withstand harsh winds, heavy rain, snow, and is even perfect for high humidity climates.
