It takes up to 110 days to mature to a drank purple/black color. The flowers are a really beautiful purple color. The plant gets about 1.5 feet high and has lots of almost jalapeno shape and size fruit on it. Many of them grow little "bat wings" (see photo) near the stem, making the peppers look like they are in the process of changing from a bat into a vampire/vampire into a bat! 25,000 to 50,000 Scovilles Adding to the drama are 2" long, black fruits which ripen to blood red.
