Donkey Cone Garage Door Torsion Spring Winding Tool
Donkey Cone is a 2 piece coupler made from 60/61 heavy-duty aluminum that fits onto a 1 3/4” or 2” spring winding cone secured with 2 fasteners. Donkey Cone converts a standard 4-hole 90° winding option to an 8-hole (45°) option, allowing for the safe addition of or removal of tension on a garage door torsion spring in situations that don’t allow the use of industry-standard 18” winding bars. No truck should be without one! BENEFITS: The most important benefit is safety.
