I do shake them to get any loose seeds out before drying, and then again about half way through the process, but they usually do have some seeds left in them that you could germinate when the weather gets cool again. These plants are allowed to grow wild . They are super healthy, get deep green leaves, We harvest the healthy leaves, They are dried naturally in the same way that we dry the flowers. For the most part they maintain their green color after dried, it's just a muted green not nearly as vibrant as the live leaves, and can be tinged with some brown.
