It is in new condition. 1 yard of this weighted tape weighs 8 ounces and has 22 weights. There is approximately 1 inch of fabric between each weight along the tape. I think the weights are lead, there is no indication on the item of fabric content or what the weight is made of. If you are purchasing more than one yard it will ship in one continuous length.
