These FTZ heavy duty cable lugs, also known as Power Lugs, are the absolute best we could find. They are made by a leading manufacturer of electrical components for transportation and industrial applications - connectors are their whole business. They weigh 50% to 100% more (depending on size) than Ancor Marine lugs, with about 40% thicker walls and a longer contact area for double crimps. We sell them for about the same price as you'll find standard-duty Ancor brand lugs in the stores. FTZ Power Lugs are made of 99.9% copper, with a substantial polished tin plating. Unlike many lugs, the pad is a seamless piece for strength, conductivity, and corrosion resistance. The cable size is stamped on each lug.We recommend the FTZ crimping tool, which provides a substantial diamond-shaped crimp with no voids, or an appropriate hydraulic or electric crimper.
