Looking to add a unique and eye-catching plant to your indoor collection? Look no further than the Carnivorous Cape Sundew (Drosera capensis). With its vibrant red and green hues, this stunning plant is sure to captivate any plant lover. Not only is it beautiful, but it's also practical—place it near areas where small fruit flies tend to gather, and watch as it naturally helps keep them under control. The sundew is a bog plant and prefers to always sit in filtered water with little to no additives, see pictures in description for a typical tray system that I use to grow these, I usually keep around 1-2" of water in the tray depending on the size of the sundews. The plant enjoys full sun, and will produce more dew when exposed to lots of sunlight. In the right conditions it can grow pretty large, bigger than your hand! It also flowers pretty regularly (see picture for detail). All in all, a very easy plant to grow! Whether you're a seasoned carnivorous plant enthusiast or just starting your exotic plant journey, this Cape Sundew is the perfect addition to bring a touch of the extraordinary into your home
