No-Mar Contact Tip Nose Cushion - for DeWalt D51238 18-Gauge Brad Nailer - QTY 4
Here's a set of 4 replacement Rubber Nose Pieces for the No-Mar Contact Tip of the popular DeWalt D51238 Brad Nailer. These replacement Nose Pieces (Tips) are 3D printed from a semi-hard rubber. Designed to replace the harder plastic tip originally supplied with the Brad Nailer. When it was available, the plastic nose piece was molded onto the DeWALT p/n 395520-00 metal Contact Tip Arm. This entire part is obsolete and there are no replacements available. I designed this replacement tip in CAD/CAM to slip onto the existing metal Contact Tip Arm and lock into place (after you remove any remailing plastic bits of the original tip). These tips (you get FOUR) are made of rubber (either Black or Blue), allowing you to press them onto the existing arm, locking it into place. The original hard plastic tip was molded onto the arm at the factory and was not meant to be replaced separately. These replacement rubber tips will probably not last as long as the original, so you get four of them. But they will protect your project just the same. Installation is easy, as you place the rubber tip on a hard surface and insert the metal Contact Tip Arm into the slot, and rock the Nailer side to side while applying slight downward pressure, until it snaps into place. Refer to the included video for installation details. I'm offering these as a solution for others with the same nailer as I have. It's a great little nailer but I was surprised that there were no replacement tips available. Now there is. A tried and tested design, I've been selling these replacement for several years.
