RP1991 Compatible Repair Kit For Shower Cartridge with RP4993 Seats & Springs
Compatibility: Designed to be compatible with 1600 Series Shower Cartridge produced by Delta. The mixing cartridge is designed to be compatible with the RP1991 cartridge and includes the (2) seats and (2) springs, RP4993. These cartridges are not exclusive to Delta 1600 Series and can be found on Glacier Bay & Pegasus shower valves also. Ensure this cartridge is the correct one for your valve; Glacier Bay, Baypointe, & Pegasus faucets use a very similiar style cartridge that utilizes a pressure balance instead of seats and springs. Dimensions: The RP1991 mixing cartridge measures 2” (51 mm) in length. 1.37" (35mm) in the outside diameter. Intensely tested by the manufacturer to ensure the cartridge can meet the demand of your shower. Other Components: The RP1991 utilizes a seat and spring shut off system, please ensure that the old seats and springs are removed before installing the new ones. The installation order is as follows; Spring, Rubber Seat, Cartridge, Retaining Nut, Extension if used, and Handle. Various Delex or Delta style handles fit this cartrirdge like the H79 Handle
