These are the perfect type of decorative nails that will give your project that rustic appearance. The dull finish helps in making them look older and worn ideal for transforming an ordinary door or gate into something with a more authentic appearance. PREMIUM GRADE - These decorative nail heads measure 1" in diameter with a 1" shank. They are the same decorative nails for wood we have been selling to the commercial furniture and ornamental iron fabrication industry for years and now they are available to you BEAUTIFUL FINISH - These black decorative clavos nail heads are Electro-Coated hammered black nail heads that provide a rustic nail antique finish QUALITY STEEL - The metal nails are made from high quality steel resulting in a very strong and durable nail. This means less time wasted having to pull out bent nails. Less expensive nailheads are made from cheaper steel and are prone to bending when being installed which results in frustration and lost time EASY INSTALLATION - These can installed by simply using a rubberized tack hammer and either a nail spacer tool or a set of needle nose pliers. If using a nail spacer tool, follow the directions as indicated by the tool. If using the needle nose pliers, hold the nail portion of the tack in place with the pliers and hammer the tack into a firm wooden surface IDEAL USES - These metal clavos can be used on all sorts of different furniture and craft projects including headboards, sofas, loveseats, chairs, benches, ottomans, custom iron work such as wooden doors, wood gates or any piece of wood that needs updating or could simply use a little extra character.
