SUMMER POINSETTIA-PERENNIAL-Very Different-20 seeds from my yard-2022
Summer Poinsettia is a care free, unusual perennial that you don't see every day! The Summer Poinsettia is in the Euphorbiaceae family and has several common names: Fire on the Mountain, Mexican Fire Plant, Painted Spurge, Painted Leaf, Painted Leaf Spurge and Wild Poinsettia. This perennial is easy to grow and can get up to 18" tall, it loves full sun and water. It blooms from June to early October and the leaves have a unusual shape with a littlennial! Red in some of them at the top of the stem close to the red orange flowers. These will turn into seeds which have a hard shell as they dry the seeds will pop out of their shell. When you cut off a stem of the plant if will drip a white milky substance. I live in zone 6a-7 and they grow good here! I gladly combine shipping on all my items.
