Removable lid makes it easy to access fixtures for maintenance. The sand box and lid are engineered with structural reinforcing ribs for support and strength. Make easy irrigation pipe connections through the precut pipe hole. Box has a built-in bolt hole and brass nut so lid can be fastened down with a 2-1/2 in. X 3/8 in. bolt (113BB, sold separately). Overlapping lid blocks dirt and debris from entering the valve box. Lid is marked for Irrigation Control Valve (ICV) use. Slot makes lid easy to lift with a flathead screwdriver.
