Light Malt Extract Agar Mix Pouch contains 25 grams of pre-mixed ready-to-use agar with Light Malt Extract (LME) at a rate of 2 grams of agar for every 3 grams of LME. Perfect for mushroom cultures or other microbiological activities. Whole pouch will make 500 mL of agar gel, which is enough for approximately 20 plates measuring 90-100 mm wide. Produces a gel comprised of 2% agar agar and 3% LME. Mixing instructions included on pouch label. Please Note: To produce a sterile solution, after dissolving, mixture must be autoclaved at 15 PSI for 20 minutes. Product will arrive in a labeled recloseable heat-sealed mylar pouch containing a silica gel desiccant packet to ensure freshness. Ships USPS First-Class.
