Vintage Handmade Quilt 9 Patch 82 X 71 Hand Sewn And Quilted
82 x 71 shown on a queen size bed. This is a handmade quilt. hand sewn almost all of it I found in my inspection that the backing to make the full piece has been machine stitched together, piecing several pieces of Muslin to cover the quilt. the backing is a rough muslin . I have wash this quilt on my bulky setting and then Line dried. This quilt does have a little bit of staining. It’s barely noticeable, but it has to be mentioned. It does not have worn through spots like many of my quilts do and the person who quilted it just did a basic diagonal stitching across the entire quilt. It is a very well done quilt . This fabric looks to be from the 1930s judging from the styling of the patterns. I do not think it is feed sack fabric.
